Rita has been a Personal Trainer at our facility (formerly under different ownership) since 2007 and began teching Silver Sneakers classes here in 2008. 2010 marks the year that she received her Master Pilates Certification and she utilizes our Reformer and Cadillac in our Pilates Space to train clients in addition to our general gym space. 2019 marks the year that she began teaching Yoga classes at our facility as well and she is currently working toward her Craniosacral Therapist Certification.
Rita has had alot of experience with a wide variety of clientele ranging from 13 to 88 years of age and she feels equiped to work the majority of the members that walk through our doors. Body awareness, optimal alignment and body mechanics, core and stabilization work, exercise progression and mindfulness are strong keys to her training approach. Rita emphasizes proper nutrition with her clients to achieve weight and body composition goals and overall wellness. She strives to equip her clients with the knowledge and tools that are necessary to achieve their goals and change their lives. “I view physical activity, nutrition and mindfullness as a lifelong pursuit toward wellness and as a means of preventative care.”
