Experience

My experience stems from being a multi-sport athlete. Hockey was the first sport I played when I was around 4 years old. From there I also played football, baseball, lacrosse, and even tennis for a couple of years. My passion for fitness really sprouted right after high school when my older brother convinced me to start lifting with him at one of the local gyms. I was always apprehensive of lifting in front of others as I was a smaller person at the time, weighing around 145 lbs. I fell in love with it!

After a few painful months, lifting became somewhat of a happy addiction of mine as it was not only exciting seeing the progress I had made along the way, but it was also very therapeutic to me and helped me get through a lot of hard times. Over the past ten years, I have worked with several friends and was able to help aid in them finding a passion for fitness, and helping them reach their goals, which has been such an exhilarating experience! I couldn't be happier to have found a home to continue this journey with Three Rivers Fitness.

Hobbies/Interests

“I try to stay active as often as I can. I always find myself wrapping up my nights by watching whichever show seems to be popular at the time, or playing games with friends. I play hockey on weekends during the winter which I’m very grateful for. In the summer I try to stay active by rollerblading or hiking, and going to new locations I haven’t been to. Recently I’ve been trying to reinvigorate an older hobby of mine which is playing guitar. I’ll listen to just about any kind of music, but at the gym I’m usually listening to metal or anything with a good beat. The most important thing to me will always be my family, I try to spend time with them much as I can. I’m also trying to find new recommendations for books, so if you have any, please don’t hesitate to let me know!”
